Who We Are

Meet Our Founders

Our co-founders are NIH-funded investigators with a proven track record in academic research and grant-writing. One boasts a profound depth of knowledge in hematopoiesis and stem cell biology, while the other offers a wealth of experience spanning over a decade and a half in breast cancer research. Together, they’ve received notable awards, including the K99/R00, R21s, R01s, R25s, DOD Breakthrough awards, among many others. Their significant involvement in numerous study sections, combined with their roles in various training programs, underscores their commitment to enhancing research and grant-writing competencies. Lumos emerged from their personal challenges with the demands of grant writing. Through Lumos, they’re not just sharing expertise—they’re revolutionizing the way you approach and achieve success in your grant-writing endeavors.
